Julio Jones Undergoes Sports Hernia Surgery

All-SEC Sophomore wide receiver, Julio Jones, has underwent surgery to repair a sports hernia. Jones suffered this injury during spring practice. The surgery took place in Philadelphia, PA by Dr. William C. Meyers. Dr. Meyers is the chairman of surgery at Drexel University. The star receiver should be ready to practice by early August when Fall camp begins. Jones recorded 58 receptions, 924 yards, and catching 4 touchdowns during UA's 12-2 season. Former Alabama running back's Ken Darby and Glen Coffee both had the sports hernia surgery and both reported back to camp in time of the respected season. Julio recorded 4 receptions, 73 yards, and a touchdown April 18th during the A-Day game.
