27 Players, 27 Days: The Tide Times Breaks Down the #1 Recruiting Class via Rivals.com

By Dan Harralson
Day 3: WR Kendall Kelly (Gadsden City.) Kendall is four-star WR prospect who stands at 6'4, 210 lbs. He was clocked at a 4.45 in the 4o and with a vertical spanning 38 inches. Kendall had Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Oregon, USC, and Texas all on his list. Only Bama, Clemson, and LSU received an official visit for Kelly. He showed very low interest towards Oregon, USC, and Texas. His first official visit came on January 9th to the Capstone (Recruited by Bobby Williams.) Former Bama WR (and current Clemson Head Coach) Dabo Swinney and Jeff Scott pursed Kelly on a January 16th official visit to Clemson. Kendall's third and final visit landed in Baton Rouge, with rival LSU. Josh Henson and Brick Haley accompanied Kelly on January 23rd. There was zero talk or anything leaked out about where the four-star recruit would land before National Signing Day. Tennessee and Coach Lane Kiffin came on strong towards the end. Kendall Kelly will be a great asset in a very talented WR core surrounded by phenom Julio Jones and will have a highly-talked about QB (A.J. McCarron) in 2010 to have balls thrown to by.
