The University of Alabama has named Phil Savage to join Eli Gold in the broadcast booth this fall. Savage, a Mobile native, will replace Kenny "The Snake" Stabler as the color analyst. Savage is the former Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Cleveland Browns and most recently held the duties of Director of Player Personnel alongside Ozzie Newsome, of the Baltimore Ravens. During his time in Cleveland, Savage worked alongside Nick Saban, Bill Belichick, Kirk Ferentz, Pat Hill, and Jim Bates.
