Day 9: Kevin Norwood (WR - D'Iberville, MS) Norwood a four-star recruit from The Magnolia State who was recruited by Bo Davis. The 6'3, 180 lbs. receiver signed with the Tide on December 16, 2008. The agile athlete played both sides of the ball his senior season, as well as returning kickoff's. Norwood had 54 receptions, 1,001 yards, and 12 touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball,while compiling 421 kickoff return yards with one touchdown. Unbelievably, Norwood had 11 interceptions and 37 tackles on defense. Under Coach Saban, Kevin Norwood will be well used. Other schools that recruited Kevin were Ole Miss (recruited by Derrick Nix), Mississippi State, and Southern Miss (by Darrell Wyatt.)
